Email Agent Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 26, 2026
Email Agent is a private, personal-use application that connects to the authorized user’s Gmail account through Google’s OAuth system.
Information Email Agent accesses
Depending on the permissions granted by the user, Email Agent may access Gmail message metadata and message content, including sender, recipient, subject, date, message text, labels, threads, and mailbox state. It may also apply or remove labels, archive messages, move configured messages to Trash, or perform other mailbox-management actions expressly enabled by the user.
How Google user data is used
Google user data is used solely to provide the Email Agent functions requested by the authorized user, such as organizing email, identifying messages that may need attention, and applying user-defined mailbox rules.
Storage
OAuth credentials, local configuration, processing state, and activity logs are stored on the authorized user’s own computer. This website does not receive or store the contents of the user’s Gmail mailbox.
Sharing and sale of data
Email Agent does not sell Google user data. It does not use Google user data for advertising. It does not disclose Google user data to third parties except when required by law or when the authorized user explicitly directs an integration to do so.
Retention and deletion
Email Agent retains only the local information needed to operate, such as OAuth credentials, processing state, configuration, and activity logs. The user can stop use of the application by revoking its Google Account access and deleting the local Email Agent files and credentials from their computer.
Security
Email Agent uses Google’s OAuth authorization process rather than storing the user’s Google password. Local credentials should remain on the authorized user’s computer and should not be shared.
Google API Services User Data Policy
Email Agent’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
